Terms of Service

Last updated: February 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Webpresso service, including our website, APIs, dashboard, deployment, and evidence services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Webpresso ("Webpresso", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

Webpresso is a repository-connected deployment and evidence platform. External coding tools may work in your GitHub repository; Webpresso verifies selected revisions, operates supported deployment checks, and records bounded release evidence. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate, deploy, or distribute malicious software, malware, or code intended to cause harm
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service through automated means without prior written consent
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or related systems and networks
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Circumvent any rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical limitations of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all code, content, and projects that you create using the Service. Webpresso does not claim any intellectual property rights over your work product. Webpresso retains all rights, title, and interest in the service itself, including deployment orchestration, evidence systems, user interface, and all related technology. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. External Tool Outputs

You are responsible for source changes, configurations, instructions, and other outputs produced by external coding tools or your team before you submit them to Webpresso. Webpresso may record bounded attempt, artifact, revision, check, and deployment evidence, but the Service does not take ownership of externally produced code. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating those outputs before deploying them to production environments.

7. Alpha Access

Access is currently invitation-only. Any evaluation scope and commercial terms are agreed directly in writing before charges apply. No public self-serve paid plan or checkout is live.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Webpresso shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Webpresso in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your account through the account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you will have a 30-day period to export your data and projects. After this period, we may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and applicable European Union regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Germany. If you are a consumer within the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
